Thunder

Today, my dad told me that my house in Seremban terkena thunder strike which cause the air-condition, cordless phone, Astro, and Telekom phone line spoilt. =.=''' faint.... I got a shock when i heard this news and i felt sad. The reason is we had to buy new house appliances again. Fyi, although the air-condition and cordless phone were under warranty, we still could not redeem it. The STUPID THUNDER IS NATURE DISASTER!!!! Haiz..why am i so unlucky...haiz...

As for Astro, my dad had to apply for a brand new account because by fixing the machine cost us almost RM200. The most funniest thing is the scene my dad meet with the sales rep from Astro.

Dad: "May i know how much do i need to pay for fixing the machine because my house kena thunder strike?"

Sales rep: " Don't be so rush, uncle."

Dad showing a weird look when he heard that phrase from the sales rep.

Sales rep: " By the way, you have 3 choices to choose for your Astro : (a) The cost for fixing the machine is RM 170. (b) You may choose to buy a brand new machine

(c) You may cancel your current account and apply for a brand new account by not paying a single penny but you minimum monthly fees should RM 65.

Obviously as a smart consumer will choose C. I won't be so stupid spend extra money on the old machine. And their technician was very efficient. He came to my house this afternoon and installed everything, as my dad just apply it in the morning.

Astro is fixed but others are not and this time really had to spend a lot of money on "them". Stupid thunder "burnt out" my things...huh!!! So tomorrow dad has to go to insurance company to check on whether we can claim money from the house insurance.

Hope everything goes smoothly by tomorrow. And Mr. Thunder please don't visit my house again because every once you visit, we need to pay a lot of money.
